Make sure to go through every inch of the sewers to get everything you can. There are a bunch of level 60 enemies here so it won’t be an easy time but it will pay off in the end. There are only 2 floors here, and you will be able to heal and save in between them. Make sure you stock up on some healing items to help you manage your HP and MP throughout the sewers. The silver key is easy to get, but when it comes to gold keys, you have to buy those. The obstructions in both sewers could be blocking useful items or even more enemies to fight and level up.Īlso, while traversing these sewers you will find the silver and gold safes you see throughout the world that require a key to open. Once again, hopefully you got Ichiban the Demolition ability to knock down some of the walls blocking your way. Levels here range from 38 all the way to level 60. The Sujimon (enemies) in the Kamurocho sewer dungeon is more powerful than in Ijincho. Now, when you finally get back to Kamurocho in Yakuza Like A Dragon you can use the sewers there to level up. This tends to be the best way here and usually gains at least 1 level each time on these 5 floors. I would raise everyone to level 50 and return to floor 26 and go through floor 30 while leveling. Since you can’t save in between fights, make sure to return back to the streets on floors 6, 11, 16, 21, and 26 to save your game. This can give you access to some really good gear for your party by getting these rewards. The fights on each floor have a clear reward and a bonus reward if you meet the condition during the fight. This gives you time to heal in between fights before you take the elevator to the next floor. There are 30 floors here in the battle arena and in my opinion the best location to level and grind in-game until post-game at Millennium Tower.Īs you go through the fights in battle, you have one fight per floor. Chances are, people are usually in their 30s or low 40s at this point in the game. I struggled here a lot because my party just wasn’t strong enough to beat them, no matter what items I used at the level I was currently. These are two Yakuza legends and are very difficult to beat. When you arrive in Sotenbori you will have the huge task on your hands of fighting Maajima and Saejima. You can switch him back to immediately after he acquires the skill. Take some healing items and make sure to have switched Ichiban to Foreman to get the Demolition skill. The game always provides a heal and save point right before you advance to the next level. The Sujimon (enemies) here range from level 16 all the way to boss Bedeviled Robot who is level 40.
The sewers have three floors with multiple different areas that you gain access to with Ichiban’s Demolition skill. At some point, switch out Ichiban’s job to Foreman, so you can unlock the Demolition skill. Once you finally have access to the sewers, proceed down there and start to gain some levels. You’ll have to play through a very small part of the game before it unlocks.
You don’t initially have these sewers in Yakuza Like A Dragon unlocked right away. When you first arrive here, your map will display fewer icons than the picture above since this is taken in-game towards the end of the game. You will find yourself here in Isezaki Ijincho after you play through a small story portion. When it comes to the first place that you might need to gain some levels in Yakuza Like A Dragon, look no further than the sewers. Be sure to check out our combat guide for the game as well. There are parts in this game where it might become difficult for people to get through some fights, so I am going to share a couple of ways to help level up.
Yakuza Like A Dragon is now turn-based instead of the action-adventure style of its predecessors. It took a step in a different direction from previous Yakuza games. Yakuza Like A Dragon came out at the beginning of the current generation.
